La ortesiología digital es un área de la podología en la cual se diseñan y confeccionan prótesis a medida y adaptadas a la patología que presente cada paciente.

En niños corregimos la tendencia a la aparición de determinadas patologías y/o deformidades, en adultos retardamos el proceso irrumpiendo en su mecanismo de producción, en edades avanzadas paliamos dolor y afecciones derivadas del mal apoyo y/o problemas de huesos.
En deportistas ejercemos la prevención y tratamiento de afecciones derivadas de la actividad física y alteración de la pisada aplicando los conocimientos y fundamentos biomecánicos en este sector para mejorar el rendimiento deportivo, reducir su gasto energético y optimizar resultados.
Desde la Podología Deportiva reforzamos este trabajo mediante pautas de ejercicios y/o estiramientos de determinados grupos musculares para conseguir, en la medida de lo posible, que el cuerpo se equilibre por sí mismo
